For entry to Year 7 in September 2024

30th June 2023 (noon) | Online registration period ends. Deadline for submitting supporting evidence for details of SEND needs and access arrangements. |
September 2023 | Letters sent out explaining how to apply for school places |
4th September 2023 | Online Secondary School Applications begin |
16th September 2023 | Grammar School Entrance Test Day |
Midnight 31st October | Closing date for school applications |
1st March 2024 | Allocation Day |
Midnight 8th March 2024 | Closing date to return reply form accepting school place or to go on waiting list |
After 29th March 2024 | Outcome of waiting list requests sent out |
3rd April | Closing date for return of reply forms |
May 2024-July 2024 | Appeals |
The registration and administration of the Grammar School Test is carried out by the Gloucestershire grammar schools themselves. Any queries in reference to the Entrance Test should be directed to the grammar schools
